What and Why?

What's In The Fire Training Courses?

Our fire safety courses contain sections on all existing hazards, safety practices, and emergency response requirements regarding fire safety.

These courses also contain real-life examples and “What Went Wrong” scenarios to help employees better understand the fire hazards that pose a serious threat to their safety.

These presentations also include a checklist for instructors to use when administering the practical exam, which also comes with these courses.

Why Do I Need Fire Training?

Once employees successfully complete a fire safety training course, they will know how to identify potential fire hazards, how to evacuate in the event of an emergency, and how to use firefighting equipment such as a fire extinguisher.

Employees who have this knowledge and skill set will be able to help make safety a priority in the workplace.

Fire Training FAQs

What is fire safety?

Fire safety is the process of planning and designing buildings or other infrastructure to either reduce the risk of a fire breaking out. If a fire does break out, fire safety planning slows the spread of fire. You should know and follow the 3 P’s of fire safety: prevent, plan, and practice.

What are the three Ps of fire safety?

The three Ps of fire safety are prevent, plan, and practice! These can be used at work or at home to help keep yourself safe in the event of a fire.

What are the 4 main principles of fire safety?

Fire safety training is summarized by four main principles. First, reduce hazards in your workplace. Second, be aware of any rooms or materials that are prone to fire. Third, regularly inspect your fire alarms and suppression systems to make sure they work properly and are up to date. And fourth, make sure all emergency exits are clearly marked so that you and others can escape quickly in case a fire breaks out.

What is basic fire prevention?

A basic fire prevention system includes an alarm system and sprinklers. Other components include smoke detectors, heat detectors, and evacuation systems.

How long are fire safety certifications valid for?

Individuals who successfully complete the fire safety course will be issued a certificate that will be valid for three years after the issue date.

Where do I sign up to take a fire safety training course?

You can do two things to get started. First, you can locate the fire safety course you want to take, purchase the online course, and get started today. Your other option is to contact our customer support team for more information.
