Train the Trainer Cost

Our Train the Trainer program is an affordable approach for most businesses. See all of our Canadian Train The Trainer courses.

  • Hard Hat Training courses pull from case studies and real world examples to help training.
  • Train the Trainer is all about the ability of the prospective trainer.
  • Train the Trainer is an individual approach to reaching a wide audience

What Is the Train the Trainer Model?

It is more important than ever to continue to be competitive and relevant in your market. Training and growth are at the top of the list of factors that contribute to your success. A successful company needs a motivated and well-trained workforce. This is where the Train the Trainer model comes into play.

An effective strategy to guarantee that staff learns to gain the information and skills required to perform successfully in their positions is to implement an internal training program. The Train the Trainer framework is used to teach future instructors or subject matter experts so they can train others inside their businesses.

In other words, a group of staff members take part in a brief training course that emphasizes both specific training material and methods for imparting that material to others. The goal is for participants to gain new skills or information and then pass that knowledge along to subsequent groups of employees.

Internal trainers have the benefit of being familiar with the environment and culture of the company as well as the goods, provided services, and client demands. This enables trainers to customize materials to the particular requirements of the trainees.

Cost Effectiveness of Training

Those who train employees by themselves need to show why they are qualified to do so.

The online training program is a simple and affordable approach for organizations to receive the certification.

Although OSHA may not necessarily require a Train the Trainer certification, many businesses feel more at ease completing the program from a reputable, well-known training provider. Hard Hat Training is happy to be that provider. However, taking the Train the Trainer course isn’t always viable for businesses. We have an online certification option because of this. If you feel confident in your knowledge and conducting training, you can simply buy the online trainer course, receive your certificate, and begin training. It is a highly economical course of action.

In short, the trainer will enroll in the online training course to learn more about the tools and how to instruct workers. Once finished, the trainer can download the included training kit, which includes a comprehensive powerpoint presentation and all the training materials required to instruct your various employees and operators, along with their certificate of accomplishment.

Train the Trainer Price

We at Hard Hat Training are committed to providing the best, affordable safety training. Our Train the Trainer certification program costs $700, this includes the full kit as well as the online course. Our Train the Trainer course offered in Spanish is also $700. Our Canada Train the Trainer course, which adheres to the CCOHS and CanOSH requirements, is available for $850. We understand that safety training is an investment; other companies may charge less for their services but, as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. Most other Train the Trainer programs will cost less but will not have the same benefits as a Hard Hat Training course. So, you may be wondering, what is included in our Train the Trainer programs?

What Is Included in Our Program?

Trainers enroll in the online course to learn more about their subject and how to instruct the necessary topics. This provides companies and trainers with a thorough, economical way to advance their expertise and teach or certify their personnel. Our Train the Trainer courses are created for businesses that have staff members with subject-matter expertise but who just require or desire a third-party trainer certificate.

Each Train the Trainer kit will differ slightly, but they are made up of the following core components:

  • Reference Manuals – This is a useful tool for both trainers and trainees who want a quick recap of what the training covers. The reference manual, like the training presentation, is in PowerPoint to allow for easy customization.
  • Evaluations – To show their competency in the course subject, trainees will need to complete two evaluations: a written exam and a practical evaluation. The practical evaluation allows trainees to demonstrate the skills they learned during training.
  • Certification – After passing their written and practical evaluations, trainees should be awarded a certificate. Our kit includes options for both full-sheet printable certificates and small wallet-card certificates.
  • Classroom Forms – There are many classroom forms that you can use to prepare for your training. Name card templates, accident report forms, inspection and maintenance records, job safety analysis forms, refresher training forms, training outlines, and other materials are included in the course.
  • Real-World Examples – Case studies, accident investigation reports, and accident news clips are all included in our course. It may be useful to share real-life examples of what happened when people ignored workplace safety principles. You can share these during the training session or later during a refresher training session.

You will immediately have electronic access to our DIY training kit, which provides you with everything you need to conduct training classes once you have finished the Trainer Certification course and passed the exam. These materials can be customized and reused. To give you the finest training experience possible, we have improved our kits. Our kits are outfitted with up-to-date regulations and requirements, while being OSHA Aligned.

Is Train the Trainer Effective?

The effectiveness of the Train the Trainer model has always been because of its composition.

At its foundation, Train the Trainer is all about the individual. Train the Trainer allows you to learn at your own pace, choose how much time you want to spend on a given topic, and tailor your course to meet your needs and the needs of your classroom. Each course contains references to training materials for further research and study.

To get the most out of this course, we advise you to devote yourself outside of working hours to furthering your learning development. Use case studies and examples to your advantage. The course includes many examples so that you can see how to put the concepts into practice in real-world training situations. To put it simply, you get out of Train the Trainer what you put in.

The Benefit of a Train the Trainer Learning Model

The main advantage of the Train the Trainer model is that it successfully teaches new skills within a company by employing internal resources. Train the Trainer allows for those involved to learn new abilities and become internal trainers. Here are some additional advantages that make the Train the Trainer model popular:

  • Sending a single, highly qualified trainer to provide all the training sessions for the firm is far less expensive than engaging a huge group of external trainers.
  • Trainers are provided with the same materials they were educated on, allowing them to transfer the same knowledge throughout the business. The consistent structure also enables evaluation and comparison of each training group’s performance.
  • In the majority of businesses, people are more likely to turn to familiar colleagues for assistance than to outside experts.
  • It works especially well in situations where speedy information distribution is necessary. Newly trained internal trainers can teach their courses to their colleagues almost immediately after completing the initial Train the Trainer course.
  • The best way to learn is to impart knowledge to others. Trainers are introduced to new scenarios, as well as fresh questions and viewpoints, as they lead training sessions for their coworkers. Their subject-matter expertise will increase as they figure out how to address these problems.

Guidelines for Trainers

The effectiveness of any training program, whether online or in person, depends on a few things, including:

  • Quality of the learning materials
  • Audience understanding
  • How the program meets the audience’s needs

There is a secret component to efficient training that is sometimes overlooked: a trainer’s professionalism. A good trainer has the necessary skills to impart knowledge and assist learners.

Before you begin, be sure to ask yourself: What should be planned before establishing a course? How should a training-needs analysis be done? What is the ideal setup for the training environment? How can this course reach its full potential?

While they are often confused, teaching and training are not the same things. Trainers concentrate on the wants and goals of the learners. They observe learners’ progress and direct learners on how to complete training objectives. Stop to ask yourself: How may poor training delivery methods be avoided? How can learning be maximized? What are the obstacles to learning, and how may they be overcome?

Trainers must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills to introduce themselves, change the subject when necessary, and be understood by the audience. A skilled trainer is also adept at nonverbal cues like body language.

Trainers should be able to deal with circumstances where things don’t go according to plan. Not all workers may be open to training; they may question its value and wonder why it’s pertinent. A qualified trainer should be able to explain to such participants the benefits of this specific exercise. If you find yourself struggling, self-evaluate by asking: What is the trick to maintaining audience participation? How can I stop becoming monotonous? How may a topic be made more captivating?

Trainers work with people who have varying backgrounds, lifestyles, educational levels, and behavioral preferences. Trainers each have their own advantages and disadvantages. A confident adult with maturity makes a good trainer. Some things to consider once you get to know your class: How can the class be managed to prevent conflict and foster a safe learning environment? How should I best react when challenged?

For trainers, genuine passion is a must. They should be aware of how to keep their hearts and minds open, stay passionate about their profession, and care about training outcomes.
